Max started taking pictures when he was 9 years old while on safari in South Africa with his family. From that trip developed a passion for photography, nature, and conservation that continues to grow and develop to this day.
Max has been honored to win several photography contests and has become a student contributing photographer for the fStop Foundation where he sits on the Board.
In 2016 he incorporated M. Freund Photography, Inc. which provides photography services through Photobooths, Photo Shoots, and photographing clients' life events.
Max now studies at Syracuse University where he is enrolled in a dual major in Photography at the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Entrepreneurship at the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. He is also a staff photographer for the independently student-run school newspaper, The Daily Orange.
